On Friday, January 26, along with other organisations Bangladesh Marma Student’s council participated in a human chain in Dhaka city’s Sahbagh area to protest against the rape of two marma sisters in Ranagamati allegedly by members of Bangladesh security forces.

On Wednesday, January 31, the entire lunar event — also named ‘super blue blood moon’ — started at 4:49pm and ended at 10:09pm in Bangladesh sky. Science Movement Platform, a youth led platform organised a camp to see the super moon at Bells Park in Barishal.





On Monday, January 29, during the nationwide students strike at educational institute Bangladesh Chatra League allegedly launched attacks on striking students. The Progressive Student’s Alliance brought out a procession to demand punishment of the attackers.
